Did you leave prior to Bendrew and the mgmt. team being hired by Twitter? That’s one change.

Another is that Auggie was offered a full time job, decided to move to Austin so is no longer Community Mgr. here. But the Mod team keeps things running smoothly.

The third change of significance is Google changed their algorithm so Fluther is way further down on the pecking order; thus we aren’t getting nearly the traffic we used to. Something to do with wrongly being classified as a content farming site.

Don’t ask me to explain it. There’s an old Q by Dog which goes into quite a bit of detail. I came across it yesterday and was reading through it but I still don’t fully understand why an appeal to Google about it failed.

So, that’s pretty much it. There are a lot fewer of us, so hopefully you’ll stick around awhile.

Since we aren’t supposed to refer to others by name here, I can only vaguely detail that one member had sex reassignment surgery. However, it seems that the physical characteristics of this member is just as vague as it was before, only the other way.

Welcome back, the highlights you missed, though none will likely tell you, at least 3–5 good Jellies were ran off due to bullying, there has been more than a dozen cat fights, spats, and brawls, the FBI started secretly spying on Fluther on rumors it is far left leaning, spammers have gotten much sneakier but still get caught, Auggie returned a few others seemed to have showed back up as well, Yahoo was going to buy Fluther but found it a mess and changed their minds. Now most of it is truthful but you have to allow for a margin of error between 3–5%. Those are your headlines of today.
