What are some tips on calming down after going shopping?

From walking 3 blocks in +31 Celsius heat both ways.

If you can stand a cold shower, that would help. If not, make it a cool shower.

I would seriously urge against taking a cold shower. cool perhaps, but not cold. Quickly swinging from hot to cold can throw your body into shock, possibly causing a stroke or heart attack.

Like I answered on one of your last questions, take off your socks and shoes and submerge your feet in some kind of container that’s filled with really cool water while you relax on a chair or couch. Cooling your feet off works wonders for the rest of your body, as well. Drinking some ice water would also help.

In my case it would be a shower and crawling into the rack with GF.
Cures everything.

I took a hot bath and sat in the a/c then went to sleep for a hour. I just ate some ribs and am fine.. thanks everyone.

When you drink something hot in hot weather it will cool you down :)

Or even a tall glass of cold water!
