Can anybody tell me what 'housemanship' is in getting MBBS?

What’s MBBS?

Here is a description:

“Under the sequential programme (see structure given below), scholars will complete their 5 years MBBS at NUS, followed by 1 year Housemanship and National Service (where applicable) before proceeding on their PhD studies overseas.”

“Housemanship is the 2 years in training before you attain full registration i.e. your license to practice in Malaysia.”
