From the birther movement against Obama to Donald Trump having a personal bankruptcy and fake hair? I will ask it has Donald Trump ever had a personal bankruptcy?

Trump is a study in the armor afforded those of enormous wealth. His oafish demeanor and apparent indifference to ridicule from his “betters” renders him impervious to criticism as he bumps from one embarrassing gaffe to the next. No one is going to best him in an argument because he is always ready to descend to levels of crudity and bad taste beneath those of any and all disputants confronting him. You gotta hand it to him. Again, is anyone here prepared to state where the man sits on the political spectrum?

He has had business go into bankruptcy 4 times. the first in 1991 and the last in 2009. I’m not sure but I don’t think any of them actually failed but debt was restructured. He has never personally declared bankruptcy.

I blame John McCain for Donald Trump’s candidacy.
Until Sarah Palin we didn’t know that a cartoon could run for the highest offices in the US.

Donald Trump is the culmination of the Republican Party’s campaign for Corporate personhood, where we in effect have a corporation self-financing a run for the Presidency. I know he’s now taking populist contributions.

All bets are off.

@stanleybmanly Trump is campaigning as a Republican Conservative and has the financial background to support the reasoning behind his connection to the RNC. He also has a track record of donating to Hilary and other Democrats but so do many other Fortune 500 organizations….that is just what rich people with special interests do…they feather their nests. Trump is a true anomaly and has already eclipsed Ronald Reagan where everyone wrote him off in the early stages of his campaign and we know how that story turned out.

I want to see Trump share the stage with Carson and Fiorina and see how he fares against hopefuls that are on similar footing and don’t have the abundance of low hanging fruit of Jeb, Hilary, Scott Walker etc.

Dollars to doughnuts that by the time this campaign is over Donald Trump is making cracks about fucking the other candidates’ mothers.

@ibstubro Palin was forced on McCain who from the outset recognized Palin as the definitive example of the Republican Party as a bad joke.
