On your PBS station, are Masterpiece Theatre and Masterpiece Mystery one program or two?

We seem to have either Masterpiece Theatre or Mystery running on a Sunday night. I remember when we might see Mystery on Thursday night and Masterpiece Theatre on Sunday.
Do they alternate in your area or do they run each week separately?

I haven’t paid attention to it in a while but I think it’s the same as you say – they used to be on Sunday and Thursday night but now they alternate on Sunday nights.

It seems to me that what was once “Masterpiece Theater” is now broken up into “Masterpiece Mystery”, “Masterpiece Classic” and “Masterpiece Contemporary”. I haven’t quite gotten my DVR sorted out appropriately and have missed programs that I wanted to see because the names were changed. Darn.
