I am away from the office and conducting a bit of business by email with my staff. Why...I don't know why, but I just noticed that the first 3 letters of assistant is 'ass"!? Is this merely a coincidence?

Or is there purpose intertwined into ass being the first 3rd of the word assistant? As a business owner I can personally attest to employing the word ‘ass’ in my thought process when interacting with my employees so I am inclined to think assistant was an intentional outgrowth of the word ass. Though I will be the first to champion the greatness of my assistants who are truly great but are also human and will stumble now and then that gives credence to this strange coincidental or intentional connection of the two words. So is this indeed a coincidence and I simply need another cup of coffee or is there a deep purposeful connection of these two words??
