Is there anyway to watch videos in the corner of your screen while still working?

Asked by Questionsaboutstuff (265points) September 17th, 2015

I want a way to watch youtube video or just normal videos in the corner of my screen while I’m still working.

I want the video to always be on top, also for it to go slightly transparent while I put the cursor over it, so I can click buttons below it.

Is there any programs where I can do this?

Depends. If you’re using Ubuntu, you can just right-click the window title bar and select “Always on top”. Windows, I don’t know, but I’m sure something exists that you’d be able to find if you tried Google.

Play with the minimum maximize on the corner of the screen if you are using Vista or older computers.

Download VideoLan (which is freeware and cross-platform) and go into the options. Set it to “always on top” and change the resolution to “fit to frame”. Then drag it into the upper corner of your screen and adjust to whatever size you want.
