Is this bad timing?

Asked by thuyle21 (66points) December 16th, 2015

Recently, I have been talking to this guy. I move to the bay area for a new start and so was he. We were both looking for a job and somehow we were able to get one around the same time. But ever since we’re both working, we haven’t been able to see each other. We only went on one date so far. We work on the days we are off from each other so it’s really hard. The thing is we both hated texting, but now we text more often to check up on each other.

Sorry, but it does sound like a bit of bad timing.

If you really want to see if this will work out, though, figure out a time when you can see each other, and make a date. make it a week in advance, and plan around meeting up. It might just be a way of restarting.

Welcome to Fluther and to being an adult. Maybe you can take vacation or holidays together. Christmas is coming up maybe you can spend it together. As you pay your dues you and your friends will get more time off.

Well, it sounds a bit unfortunate, but keep at it as long as you still like him

The timing is irrelevant. What matters is that you’ve found someone compatible. The rest of it you’ll work out. Get on with it.

The timing is what it is. Make the best of it, if you want to.
