Has the weather in your area been really weird lately?

Asked by jca (36062points) December 24th, 2015

Here in the northeast part of the US (Southern part of NY), it’s going to be in the 60’s today. The entire autumn has been unusually warm.

I heard on the news that winter clothing is going to be very cheap after the holidays. Also, ski resorts in Vermont and the NY area are suffering because there’s no snow or very limited snow.

It’s nice but it’s definitely weird. Typically, it would be in the 30’s right about this time of year.

How about in your area? Has it been weird?

Way to warm, except for one week in October. No snow at all – our ski resorts are suffering, too.I have high hopes for January.

Yes! So weird! Here in California there is water coming out of the sky! and tons of snow in the mountains. We’re supposed to have a white Christmas in the local mountains near San Francisco!

Oh wait, that is normal weather for December.

Yes, it has been odd back east. I was in New York and Chicago earlier this month, both places I was able to go running in shorts.

Do you mean the 75 degree temp and tornado warnings in Atlanta on the 24th of December? Yes, it’s more than a little weird.

But this is a figment of your imagination, @jca – climate change doesn’t exist!! It’s such a falsehood that presidential candidates don’t talk about it and deny that this is anything unusual.
