Does anyone seriously give a crap if Sean Penn had a clandestine meeting with Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán prior to the narco's arrest?

I don’t find Penn’s interview particularly compelling in that it was a soft-ball interview for an entertainment magazine.

Penn is claiming journalistic immunity, and, There is no criminal liability for seeing something illegal and not reporting it.

So, the largest question remains, “If Sean Penn plays El Chapo in the big screen release, who will play Sean Penn in the small screen release?

Is there a Kardashian cast yet??

It’s not like Penn brought him into the US, he met with him in Mexico. Big deal, the Mexican government has a lot more problems with people beholden to El Chapo, like all the prison guards that seem to be busy doing something else whenever he escapes.

Besides, El Chapo is on a par with Che Guevara, the common people like him.
