Perfect food combinations?

Asked by El_Cadejo (34610points) July 24th, 2008

It seems like some foods are just made for each other. Like how tomatoes go so perfectly with basil or mozzarella cheese or how chocolate and peanut butter were made for each other. Most of us wouldn’t dare eat warm apple pie without getting a nice big scoop of vanilla ice cream. What are some other perfect combinations?

@ezra: Yes! Mac & cheese with cut up hot dogs and a veggie thrown in, preferably corn… I was practically raised on it because my dad was in college full-time, working full-time, and raising me alone. Quick was key. He also used to throw cut up hot dogs in spaghetti sauce when money was tight (he always wanted me to have a meat of some type)... everyone turns their nose up at it and it’s not gourmet, lol, but it’s really good.
