Wallet sized, perhaps. I have a 3.2 megapixel and it’s “okay” for a “not” full page printout. Of course, it also depends on the camera, but the 2.1 megapixel thing is just starting to come out of “webcam” quality.

You can pickup a lot of 6 megapixel – 10 megapixel “consumer” digital cameras for $150 or less these days… great for full 8×10’s and even some larger sizes.

I found this megapixel chart really helpful when I was printing some digital photos last year.

About 4×5” before it really starts to look rough.

I printed a 5×7 photo of my dog. Can you guess on what?

Damn, can’t edit last post..

Well, I took this with the iPhone’s 2.0 megapixel camera. No editing at all.

WOAH! That’s an awesome dog! Reminds me so much of my T-Bone… half german shep, half beagle! That’s terrific, because you know the Beagle was the mommy…

…heh.
