Why does a 22" monitor have the same resolution as a 20"?

I have been looking at which monitor to buy and the 20” & 22” both have the same resolution (1680 X 1050) http://www.dell.com/content/learnmore/learnmore.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&ref=CFG&s=dhs&~id=hmc_monitor_inspn&~series=inspn&~tab=other
Why is this? Are the pixels just bigger? Will it look more pixelated on the 22”?
