Who does NOT drink coffee in the morning?

I rarely do. Generally have tea because I can drink it without any sweetener. Coffee I need milk and lots of sugar; also, regular gives me the jitters.

I don’t. I never was a coffee drinker. Back in the day I got my caffeine fix from Coca-cola. I didn’t always have it first thing in the morning, but sometimes I did. For many years now I’ve been caffeine free (except when I cheat once in a blue moon).

Only when it’s not too late and when I’m sure I don’t need much nap at noon. I like coffee though. I can’t do without a cup of coffee in a coffee shop. Anything with offee in it, I’m also in!

I don’t. My usual routine is to have a Pepsi first thing in the morning.

I used to love coffee, then I gave it up for several years. I wasn’t sure why.

Recently I started brewing and drinking coffee of a morning. After several sleepless nights I remembered why I gave it up.

I think many people drink coffee not because they particularly
like it but because it is part of their morning routine.

I’ve never had coffee in my life. I cut out caffeine late last year, so I only drink herbal tea (and only occasionally… meaning a couple/few times a month).

I lived through a baby with reflux who woke screaming every hour and a half (and was usually inconsolable for at least a half an hour) for almost a year without caffeine. I certainly don’t need it now. If I’m tired, I try to get more sleep. And exercise.

You people are abominations to the great Java gods. lol
I love coffee, infact I am postponing some fasting blood work this week because I am not up to going without my morning coffee the last few days. haha
I will suffer the misery of these tests tomorrow or Thurs.

@Coloma Check with your lab, often black coffee is acceptable before fasting blood tests. I soldier through with just black coffee knowing I can have a triple latte right after.

@zenvelo Yes, I take a steaming Dutch Bros. mug and leave it in my car for incentive. haha Luckily my lab is only about 3 miles away. Just gotta do it!

I have a bit of blood in my caffeine stream. I’m seriously considering having a caffeine molecule tattooed on my body.

I drink it black in the morning, and lattes (with an extra shot or two) for fun.

Oh, and the latest research from the infamous “they” claims that drinking 5 cups or more of coffee a day prevents brain cancer. We’re covered @Seek Bottoms up! Fuck blood pressure. lol

I don’t. Too much acid that contributes to acid reflux. So I drink lightly sweetened tea instead.

When I was working fulltime I drank several cups throughout the day. After I retired I stopped drinking it for a year or so and then recently started having one cup each morning. I started again because it seemed to me I was reading more literature for caffeine than against.

I drink tea. I have coffee a few times a month.

I love coffee ice cream; it’s one of my favorite flavors. And when I spent some time in the Netherlands before the turn of the century, I frequented a fine restaurant that offered chocolate-covered coffee beans as an after-dinner treat, and I liked them.

But I never drink coffee.

I had a cup once that I loved, but I didn’t drink it. What happened was that one night I had to roll a flat tire through a mile or more of muddy, wet, slushy and freezing cold roadway – barehanded – to a service station to have it repaired. (My friend’s car had no spare, and since it was his car, and he was driving, and I hadn’t paid for fuel – it was my job to take care of this task.) When I got to the service station the manager offered me a mug of hot coffee, which I just held in my hands to warm them up after that ordeal. That was great coffee!

The problem with coffee is that in order to find it tolerable I have to put so much sugar and creamer in it that I’m not sure it still legally qualifies as coffee. And then what’s the point of it?

I do not consume caffeine. I don’t need any of my systems sped up, especially my digestive tract. One time I had a mixed drink that had a shot of something caffeinated in it and I felt awful and jittery and anxious for hours. I’m already anxious and type-A and it’s just not something I need to multiply.

Only about once a week. It makes me even more jittery than I usually am. Besides – if I want it to be an enjoyable experience, I have to add three spoons of sugar and 50% milk. So…I stick to tea, which I can drink like an adult.

2 16 oz cups at home and one 20 oz pot at work. That’s my daily fix.

I have an Ensure in the morning. I don’t drink coffee.

I get too jumpy if I drink coffee. I take green tea instead.

I loathe coffee. I’ve always been repulsed by its smell and taste, and I won’t go near the stuff.

Caffeine’s wonderful, though, and so is tea. I start drinking tea before breakfast, and I continue throughout the day.

I don’t. Around 8AM I was woken from my sisters 15 year old kid that was having computer problems. Teamviewer to the rescue. This is the conversation in notepad we had while I helped her out.

I do not like coffee.

Not me. On school days I drink energy drinks but coffee is so gross
