“I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older.”

-Patrick Bateman.

After shaving or washing my face I just apply lotion, heavier lotion intended for the body before bed.

As for fragrance I simply use Aveda hair products. That provides enough flowery (mostly) naturally derived scent.

I don’t use anything besides water.

In my younger days I used a very expensive scent (Halston Z-14) and was always complimented on it by women, but I no longer use any cologne. I can no longer abide a scent on myself or other men, and on women, I prefer only a VERY subtle scent.

One thing to know is, it’s not just the cologne itself that produces a scent, it’s the combination of it AND one’s personal chemistry, which means that a particular cologne can smell slightly or even very different on different men.

I’m definitely not a dude, but when my dad was alive he always used Brut after he finished shaving. I love that smell because it always reminds me of him.

@Tea_Gryphon Ah good ole Brut. We sell this in work, although I’ve never use it myself.

I never use AXE products because, well, I’m a well seasoned adult.

After I shave – air.
As I bathe – soap & water.
Sometimes unscented deodorant.

My husband uses deodorant, soap and that’s all. I’ve bought him cologne, but he has no sense of smell and so it’s not a priority for him. Sometimes he might remember to put some on when he goes out, but rarely.

He always smells lovely, so I’m fine with his decisions.

I’m also not a guy, but I remember this so vividly even today that I thought I’d see if anyone else remembers it. In High School our Chorus director used TONS of Canoe. Fortunately, I found it a pleasant smell. You always knew the moment he entered a room and if you ever shook his hand, your hand smelled like Canoe for the entire rest of the day.

Does anyone else remember Canoe?

A few years ago i discovered that theres a brand of talcum powder which also smells remarkably similar, but just not so strong. Anyone ever used Clubman talc?

.What a surprise. Canoe is still around. I thought it went out of business after it went out of style. But it’s still around.
