What current music are you listening to at the moment?

I listen to a lot of local singer/songwriters, like Megan Slankard, Jeff Campbell, Jamie Kent, Glenn Phillips.

I saw Keb’ Mo’ last week, been playing a lot of him.

None. Blessed silence.

I’m one of those people who listens selectively to music. It doesn’t have to be on all the time. Sometimes silence – absence of noise – is what I want.

Now is one of those times.

I haven’t been listening to much current music lately, but I did really like the new Benji Hughes album. I just get the feeling that he does what he loves, and that’s what I want from an artist.

I’m crazy for The Sound of Philadelphia. I’m playing the O’Jays, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, the Delfonics, and Billy Paul.

I’m watching Jeopardy.

Current music? Like new releases? I like the new album by Wintersleep a lot. Also, Apple Music has an album of Jeff Buckley doing covers and I’ve been listening to that.

Just to clarify when I say current music; I do mostly mean music released within this year (and possibly last year).
