Hi, what operating system are you using?

You really oughta Google this question or search YouTube for a DIY video. I promise you’ll find easy instructions.

I have Windows XP, but I don’t know how applicable the following is to your computer:

Right click on your pic.

You might get a pop up menu that includes an option to Set as Desktop Background.

Welcome to Fluther.

In Windows 10, the way to do it is to go to the desktop itself (not to My Computer) and right-click on the open desktop.

Select “Personalize”. The top item in the default menu for the Personalize section is the “Background” (aka “wallpaper” in earlier Windows versions).

The default choices that come with Windows are included as thumbnails to select from in the menu, but you can also Browse to the directory / folder that has the photo that you want, and select that instead.

Try this, let me know if it worked:

1. Open Display in Control Panel.

2. On the Desktop tab, do one or more of the following:

• Click a picture in the Background list. In Position, click Center, Tile, or Stretch.
• Click Browse to search for a background picture in other folders or on other drives. You can use files with the following extensions: .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .dib, .png, .htm. In Position, click Center, Tile, or Stretch.
• Select a color from Desktop color. The color fills the space not used by a picture.
