I love the song, although they overplayed it here.
The video is haunting and I can’t stop watching it.

The title is too close to “Take me in Church”, that our Priest had us sing.

I love it. My minister actually played the vid in a service. Kind of a more positive take on Hallelujah – another favorite song.

I found the video really disturbing and sad. I prefer this version.

I seriously cannot stand the song, so I’m not going to subject myself to the video. The message sounds great from what people have told me, but it’s just not my kind of music.

Didn’t watch the video so I’m not sure if it’s the one I’ve seen.

I thought it was an early 1970s Elton John song when I first heard it.

Something from this era:
Elton John – Tiny Dancer (1971) Live at BBC Studios

I don’t usually hear song lyrics so I don’t have an opinion on the content of “Take Me to Church”

I like the ballet video.

It’s OK. I won’t buy the record, but don’t necessarily change the station when it’s played.

I like it. I love the music and the lyrics and I think it has an important message. The video is dark, but I think it suits the point he’s trying to make – although I think perhaps the video needed to show more clearly his focus on organised religion and its hypocrisy and narrow-mindedness.
