“Photography and Cinema, in the realist style, is a gust of wind which blows away the dust that settles on our way of seeing.”

Closer than what?

“The camera never lies.” Yeah yeah…

However, It’s much harder to capture a single frame that tells an artistically influenced statement.

This is why in my opinion, the best film directors started as still photographers.

I don’t know what is meant by realistic school, but the typical film is highly edited. The joke goes that the film is created in the editing room. Scenes are shot out of sequence. Computer editing of films is not limited to animations, and the claim is made that the digitally enhanced film is more realistic.
