Scads of us. If you look at jelly’s profiles and see those who joined in December 2009, it’s a good bet that most of those were from the first implosion of AB, when the format change was so badly managed that many of the users flocked drifted here en masse.

I’ve never used it myself. I used to be an avid Yahoo Answers user. But I cannot bring myself to use that site much these days.

I’m an AB refugee from the December, 2009 makeover. I was Friendo for three years. Same avatar. I and a few others like ET_pro, Ariztid, Dr_Dredd, HasntBeen, Ron_C, Seek, and I think Yarnlady and a few others came here around the same time. I think there are only three of us left from the group I knew : (

I was TallJasperMan. Mister Bromide is alive and well on AnswerMug.

I left AB in 2009. I was Lady Alathia of Vulcan.

I don’t believe “vast majority” is accurate. But there was a considerable influx when it closed.

I registered just before it closed. I don’t even remember it now.

Indeed, several years ago I was an avid AB user. I had no idea it had been taken down as I haven’t visited in several more years.
