I've been forgetting the names of celebrities and how to spell certain words. Should I tell my psychiatrist or doctor?

It bothers me. I had to look up two three words in my title question alone. They were forgetting , psychiatrist, and celebrities the words I had to look up.

If this is a change and/or if it bothers you, yes tell them.

Yes, if it is upsetting to you and you find it out of the ordinary.

We all have memory lapses to some degree; it is when they are upsetting and worrying that it is time to tell a Doctor or Psychiatrist. They can evaluate you and tell you if it is concern or just something transitory.

How old are you? Age related memory problems are common.

Yes, you should.

Do see a doctor but keep in mind, if you are under a lot of stress, or lacking sleep, then it wouldn’t be a surprise. Also taking medications that make you sleepy can dull the mind. Just something to consider when you go see your doctor.

Yupper, you should. Don’t put it off and make sure your health insurance is all up to snuff, just in case.
