Why do so many shoe and clothes models appear to be "pigeon toed"?

If you are not familiar with the term it means the toes of their feet point inward rather than straight or outward. Example)

Is that supposed to be more attractive or feminine?
Back in my day that meant you needed a leg brace – or two.
I don’t get it.
