What is the man in this video blinking in Morse code?

Is it three quick blinks and then three slow blinks, and then three quick blinks again? Can’t view the video now but “dot dot dot, dash dash dash” is “SOS.” I remember seeing a video of a POW in the Vietnam war and he was talking to the interviewer but doing the “SOS” blinks simultaneously.

@jca I don’t think that’s it. He does several other combinations of blinking.

I watched it and didn’t get anything reasonable. I will forward this to an expert to see if he gets it. I’m afraid the speaker might just have a nervous twitch.

I really doubt this guy is good enough to speak and signal morse simultaneously

@ARE_you_kidding_me I thought that too. I can do SOS wile talking but that is easy.
Also with on screen video processing they can add it during the 5 second delay.

I sent it to 4 experts. We’ll see if they get anything.

I used Morse code when I was in the Navy, and earlier when I was in a ham radio club in high school. Unless he’s using a different version of Morse code (there are several versions), I think his blinking is either nervous or his eyes irritated.

Yeah, I’m starting to think there’s not actually anything here. It seems like his rate of blinking increases when he’s not talking, but he would still have to be really good in order to do the Morse code while talking..

“It’s gibberish.”

The guy definitely has a sense of humor.
