Can you help me find an inexpensive camera?

Asked by MooCows (3216points) July 12th, 2016

Does anyone have an inexpensive camera
(less than $175) that you really like and is
easy to use? Most people now use their
phone cameras but I need a regular camera
that takes uses a SD disk. Thanks in advance.

Upgrade to a moto x play or moto x style if you can, it has a 21mp camera that looks fantastic.

I have the Nikon Coolpix 7000 and a 6800. They are incredible. They have so many functions that are actually useful. “Glamor retouch” function is great. In 15 seconds you can make gorgeous portraits. And the resolution is astounding!

I’ve been using Sony digitals for about 20 years now. I really like how easy they are to use and the very good photos they take. People often ask what camera I use when I post my photos at FB / other sites.

Sony DSC TX-30 Waterproof, shockproof and a good all around camera.that does pretty much everything you want it to. It is my secondary backup camera that I keep with me on vacations.

@MooCows, I have had my DX7440 for years and never wanted anything else. I have less than $200 bux in the entire setup, camera, lenses, batteries, tripod, everything and it’s wonderful.

If you’re in Canada , this is a great weekend to buy good , inexpensive cameras at Shoppers Drug Mart. They’ve got a 20x the point event, which means you get about ⅓ of the cost of the camera back in points. Score!
