Why does "Contact the Mods" (at the top of the web page) not work?

I sent a question to the mods, but have gotten no response.

It might just be that no mods are around now.
I agree with @janbb.
I think there are huge large periods of time when Fluther has no moderation.
The Contact the Mods button does work. The problem in this particular case is that only one person can resolve your problem, and that person has not been online since you sent the question in. I will send you what I know about the situation via PM immediately after posting this answer.
It’s always worked for me. You just have to be patient and wait.
