You’re more in tune with that song too .. so you’re more likely to hear it. Just like before a flight you suddenly hear about planes more or see planes in the air more… etc, either that or you’re a magician?

I happen to see same songs playing on music channels..that’s mostly because they are playing same set of popular songs time and again..)

It’s relative. You like the song, therefore you notice it. It’s the same effect when you buy a used car you like. You’re like, “Yeah, i like my new(ly acquired) car. It’s pretty sweet.” & then you notice more people own the same kind of vehicle. It’s not that you were unaware, it’s simply you never noticed before.
