What is a good word or combo of hijab and wetsuit?

Asked by flo (11140points) August 23rd, 2016

I’m asking because of the Burquini or Burkini in France is in the news.

There is nothing Burqa-ish about it and nothing bikini-ish about it. It’s more wetsuit and hijab realted, since the face isn’t covered and the outfit is not a wide long dress.

Burkini is catchy and evocative. It works as a brand name.

I would have loved one of those back in my religious days. I always talked about making a “modest swimsuit”, but I never learned how to sew.

I think Burkini is a great name; it combines the idea of religious modesty with a bathing suit. Catchy and meaningful.

Or – what @Seek just said above. :-)

@rojo me too. The correct info right there.

“WetJab” sounds like one of those uncomfortable sex positions recommended by Cosmopolitan magazine.

@Seek It’s better than misinformaton. Is that you who was wrote, not in those exact words but: “Who becomes US Supreme Court judge is only upto the President”
