Jonicas are an Italian breed of goat used mainly for milking.

Have you ever owned goats?
goats are herd animals and it is not kind to keep a single goat.
Secondly they require room to roam, shelter and a series of certain vaccines just like a cat or dog.
Also, from your other question about milk goats, female goats do not just produce milk without being bred.

To keep milk goats means you will need to have kids born and then, bottle feed the kids and sell them, as you will want to be milking your does for, well, their milk. Male kids need to be neutered, unless you plan on keeping one as a herd sire. Nobody wants an un-neutered Billy goat, they smell and can be aggressive. A neutered male goat is called a Wether.

De-horning is also a good idea, goats with horns can do a lot of damage and can be dangerous. You need to do some serious research in keeping goats and not just get one on a whim, animals of all species have specific requirements for their health and well being. Also, what are the zoning laws in your area? If you live in the suburbs keeping livestock is prohibited and they can be noisy.

You can’t just go buy a goat and tie it to a tree in your backyard. Goats will also eat EVERYTHING around your house, therefore they need to be confined in an area where they cannot do damage. They also jump and climb and can easily jump onto vehicles, climb up stairs, etc.
