Do most people think they are good looking?

Is this built into our genetic code? (Similar to the fact that all people think their babies are cute...)

I know plenty of people who think that they look like crap. I know that I am not the most attractive guy around, but I am reasonably good looking.

Most people think they're better looking to the general public than they are. I keep a realistic concept by taking photos of myself. Ugghh! I'm getting older, not younger!
