Are there a lot of car recall notices nowadays?

Is it once a week or more often that that that you hear in the media there’s a recall from whatever car manufacturer for the last couple of years

I think there are, but a lot of them are specifically because of the Takata airbag issues, and not necessarily peculiar to specific makes or models.

Yes, this is getting entirely out of hand. The car industry releases an unsafe car and makes millions of dollars off death traps.

I just got a recall message for the passenger side air bag for my 2006 Honda Civic. I had been checking and nothing showed up, until I guess they got the new airbags made. I think just because you haven’t heard yet doesn’t mean that the situation is ok, as far as airbags go.

Thanks all.

Maybe it’s more than airbag related?

http://www.autoblog.com/recalls/ I don’t know the site though
