I don’t.

It’s fantastic. I highly recommend it.

I have taken Seek’s route. My dads side are crazy rednecks. I had a gun held to my head at my sisters wedding while I was getting into my suit. Cousin thought it would be a a appropriate time to pin me to the wall and stick a pistol to my head and say “Jesus says fags should die”.

So that was the last time I ever talked to my dads side of the family.

Oh.. And I should add. I have a thing for ladies with tats. And the crazy thumpers hate tats so it was like you couldn’t meet my GF’s because you would flip out over their body art. So since you never never met my girlfriends I was a fag.

You move on without them. You didn’t choose each other. You don’t have to spend time with each other. Life improves almost immediately.

Disown or at least distance them, failing that, hang the fuckers from the family tree #sinister

Painfully , cut ties to grown kids whose constant lies, denials and displays of insanity cause bleeding ulcers almost leading to a blood transfusion. Block all phone numbers. Live with the guilt or die.

I also don’t. I have also cut ties with relatives who cause me pain.

I cut ties and distance myself from the person(s) who are a pain in the neck. I have no association with my family for that reason.

I too have removed certain relatives from my life, but could we take a moment to differentiate between relatives who are “toxic” and those that are just “annoying” or “unpleasant”?
