What are some great hair masks to treat dry, brittle blonde hair?

Asked by susen (97points) November 8th, 2016

I have heard an olive, egg and honey mask is great for the hair and it does wonders to treat it.

If nothing else, it would make a tasty omelette.

I’m not sure that the olive (oil) and the honey will mix particularly well.

Check your thyroid and iron.

V05 Hot Oil Treatment used to be an old standby for dry hair.

Pantene conditioner will make you hair feel more conditioned, but also weigh it down a little.

I like L’OrĂ©al total repair 5 shampoo and conditioner in the black bottle with gold cap for every day.

Why is it dry and brittle? have you talked to a doctor about it? are you bleaching your hair?

@BellaB yes I do bleach and color my hair but the weird thing is that I DO not have ugly neither split ends my hair is normal full its just that I can tell the some blonde parts look brittle and I want it to be longer ,stronger and healthier. and a friend told me this is her go to mask and she has the most beautiful long hair I have ever seen.

If you do try this mask, please let us know how it worked for you.

Some of the leave in oils are nice. I use a spray-leave- in conditioner with hydrolysed castor oil in it. For Bad days a good argon oil leave-in is good to rub into the ends.

Yes, you heard it right, olive egg and honey all works great to add life to dry and brittle hair. Also try to add yogurt into the mask, it will work as a wonder.
P.S: Do not forget to sfinal rinse your hair with a mixture of half mug luke warm plain water with two spoons of apple cider vinegar.
