What has Facebook done to their pages? My ad-blocker no longer works. (Ad Block Plus). Has anyone figured out a way to defeat their new screens?

Facebook and Adblock Plus are engaged in a bit of war. Facebook keep changing their site to defeat the adblocker and ad block plus keep changing to get round it. This has been going on for at least a couple of months
Give it a couple of days and ad block plus will start working again.

I don’t see any ads on my wife’s profile page, but I saw an ad for Von’s on her home page.

In the upper-right corner of the ad I saw a down arrow. When I clicked on it, I got a popup that gave me the option to block the ad.

I blocked it, and then got another popup asking why I blocked the ad. I selected the reason and now her page is ad-free.

Facebook went to war with adblockers a few months ago.

Your best bet here is actually switching to uBlock Origin.
