I don’t like any of the free ones, so I bought Acquisition. My P2P client is the only piece of software I have ever bought. Ironic, isn’t it?

By the way, I am very happy with Acquisition.

Transmission.

The only problem that I have with it is that you must download all of the files in the torrent. You cannot select just the ones you want.

Acquisition is the best one out there. If you are familiar with Limewire, you can get that one too. However i believe that torrents is the way to go. For torrents i use transmission.

Acqlite is a very streamlined and lightweight version of limewire, very similar to acquisition (in fact i think one was based off the other).

Transmission is definitely the best bittorrent client out there for mac.

@Eambos you actually can choose which files you wish to download, just open up the inspector (click the icon with the “i”) and click the files tab. Next to each file there’s a check box to set whether to download it or not. You can also set the priorities for the files as well. Eambos if you don’t have this option, make sure you have the latest version.

@chroma. Thanks, no I haven’t updated yet. I’m so happy that important feature was added!

All I can say about limewire is:if you can get bittorrents with full albums and programs, why would you want to use a virus infested service that only gives you one song at a time?
