I intend to stock up when it gets warmer. How long can I keep a bunch of heads of broccoli?

“A bunch of heads”? Not as long as you would like. You could parboil or steam it and seal it in freezer bags, then freeze indefinitely. (It’s the whole mode of frozen broccoli that you can buy in the freezer section at your local store.) But you can’t refrigerate fresh broccoli for more than a week or two before it starts to go bad. It won’t be much warmer by then, so I don’t think that’s going to do for you.

OK I cooked one head of broccoli. I put in two tuperware containers. Will let cool before putting in the fridge. Will store on freezer. will put in fridge for snack and for
tomorrow’s dinner. Edit done.

Trust me on this. If you want to ruin a good piece of Tupperware, let broccoli go bad in it! I’ve done it before. The smell is HORRENDOUS and MELDS itself to plastics.

As for how long you can safely keep it uncooked, prolly ten days tops. Just blanch it as @CWOTUS suggests, and put it in the freezer.
