In San Francisco, are the metal caps from beer bottles recyclable?

Silly as it might sound, I have not been able to get a straight answer regarding my question for about a year now.

Wouldn’t the metal caps be recyclable wherever you are located? And yes they are, I hear they are about a dollar if you go some place where you can cash them in.

Yes, you can throw them in your blue bin! I used to work for the SF Recycling program so I do know what I am talking about : )
