Have you ever gone back to a hairstylist when you got a haircut you didn't like and what was their response?

I just got a haircut at an upscale salon in SF (Oxenrose) and the haircut ended up to be more boring and conservative than I was hoping for. I kind of want to call back and see if I can get a touch up but I don’t want to go through with it if the stylist is secretly going to think I am an annoying client. It was my first time going to her if that matters. I got the cut over a week ago but have been out of town. Thoughts? Any stylists on Fluther want to comment?
