Any idea on how to spray a tapestry that is over a stairwell?

Asked by Pandora (32199points) January 31st, 2017

I have a stairs that end in a high vaulted ceiling. There is a tapestry on one wall and air vent on the other. I am able to dust both using a long extension gadget to clean the dust off of both but I want to put some deodorizer spray on the tapestry. When ever I fry something I have to air out the house. The tapestry rarely comes down because it’s a nuisance to put back up. When ever I fry in the home the smell of grease gets everywhere. I spray curtains and any fabrics that may trap the smell but I can never get the tapestry that is in the center of the house and has a ceiling fan near it.

What about spraying a deodorizer on the extension you use for dusting and swipe it around across the tapestry. If it’s a fuffy dust thingy like I have, wash the duster part, dry then spray and rub it across the tapestry/
