Anyone have this exact quote from Brad Bird?

Brad Bird wrote and directed The Incredibles. I want to write a blog piece about the taboo of showing death in kids movies/shows, and I’m using The Incredibles as a rare recent kid’s movie where they weren’t afraid to show death to kids.

I KNOW I read a quote a looong time ago where Brad Bird actually complained about recent action/adventure movies for kids avoiding death. He mentioned how he based The Incredibles off old shows he used to watch and it always annoyed him how the bad guys never threatened to hurt the children, hence why in the Incredibles the bad guys don’t care at all and shoot at the kids. I know I read it somewhere but I can’t find it because at the time it wasn’t important to me.
