Is Mr. Harward an example of shi*s deserting a sinking rat?

Admiral Robert Harward today was offered the job recently vacated (well, he was fired) by Russian friend Michael Flynn.

Harward turned it down.

What does this say about working for the White House? (that used to be an honorable job) Is Trump so damaged and erratic (and perhaps dangerous) that the best qualified people don’t want to work for him?
