What minor easy steps can I take to live a more austere life to save money for the future?

I stopped buying pop and I rarely order out anymore . Also I eat cheap fresh vegetables Instead of a $15 steak. What other steps can I take to live a minimalist lifestyle to get ahead? Also Buying bulk helps. I find that growing wealth is like a stick shift in a car , You go slow at first but end up faster In the end.
