What is your favorite way to show a date you like that you appreciated going on a dinner date?

I only did this one time. We had only just met very casually at a bar but we ended closing the bar that night so there was a connection. It was our very first date but I pre-penned a card expressing my appreciation for her company that night just in case the date went well…it did and I gave her that card at the end of our date. Apparently it made an impression. I got a goodnight kiss in exchange and a 23 year marriage so far out of it.

I’d tell her, and mention that I would like to do it again.

I would pay my half of the bill.
