What are these itchy red spots?

Last night the backs of my legs were randomly really itchy, but I didn’t think much of it. Today, I’m woken up by my arms itching, just around my elbows and under my armpits sort of. I have red welps all over the tops and backs of my legs, around my knees, and a couple on my face and hands. Me and my mom analyzed everything I ate yesterday.. nothing out of the ordinary. I’m also on medication, but have been taking it for like a month. My mom thinks it’s chiggers but I think they’re sort of weird places for that. So.. any help?
