What does pineapple on pizza taste like?

but what does it taste like? don’t say pineapple on pizza. answer like a foodie, I want details.

Have you ever had pineapple glazed ham with pineapple rings tooticked onto ham while it bakes?

It is a. Lot like that but with all the cheesy tomato goodness of a pizza mixed in. But have it with ham or Canadian bacon on the pizza too.

It is a sweet off set to all the other tastes of a pizza.

Do you like pineapple? I hate it, so for me, it taste’s disgusting. Yuck.

I fucking love it on peperoni pizza. I do not like it on Canadian bacon pizza.

This is going to sound odd…

But I find most peperoni to be to spicy. So the sweetness of pineapple helps with that and I think it is good.

However, pretty much the worst thing is pineapple on a pizza that has sat in the fridge overnight. It becomes a sweet mess that gets into the crust and just makes it all horrible.

I like it on pizza if the conditions above are met. My sister dips pizza in Ranch. I will never understand that.

I don’t know why they add pianapple on pizza in the first place. It shouldn’t be that bad if you add some chilli flakes over that.

I love it with ham. They call that a Hawaiian Pizza here. .

Do you like pineapple by itself? If the answer is yes, then it will add a tartness to the pepperoni pizza.

I personally like the combination. Not everyone does.

I’m pretty sure that ‘pineapple pizza’ originated in California, just like the Pet Rock, the Egg McMuffin, and ‘The Wave’.

Only my opinion, but I wish all of them had stayed right there….

In a way, like raisins in a chocolate chip cookie. or croutons (they’re like rocks!) on a salad. The texture of pineapple on pizza is OK but the flavor clashes with the cheese and/or other toppings.

I like it with Canadian Bacon. Just order a personal pizza, and try it.

I like the flavor but I don’t like the texture of pineapple, but then I’ve never had grilled or baked pineapple. I will try it because you only live once. (This is what I was thinking when I ate a dirty sock Beanboozled jellybean.)

You will either love it or hate it.

There does not seem to be any middle ground with this.

@djbabybokchoy go to a pizza place that sells it by the slice, if you hate it you aint out much,if ya love it then next time get a whole pizza, I LOVE pineapple on pizza, either as an Hawaiian or a meat lovers with pineapple.
In my opinion it really jazzes up a pizza.

I can always pick off the pineapple. I do that with black olives. :D

Like I said I love it on pizza, but not eveyone does my mother doesn’t like it on pizza.

Try and find a place that sells pizza by the slice. If you hate it, you only lost out on a slice….

I would recommend people try most things once….

It has a wonderful sweet and sour flavor, the tangy tomato sauce, paired with the sweet, tart pineapple, and then swathed in the nutty, mellow, but slightly tart flavor, of the mozzarella cheese. It’s quite different than most pizza toppings, which tend to be completely savory. Although it lends a sweet flavor, along with a tart flavor, it is definitely not a “dessert” kind of flavor, if you are worried about that.

A lot of people who like pineapple, do not like it on pizza. I am one of those people who like pineapple by itself, and on pizza, and in most other ways it can be served. Grilled fresh pineapple is one of the most delicious things in the world.

You will probably love it or hate it. Pineapple on pizza is one of those things that tends not to be in anyone’s middle ground.
