I take a nap on the roof of my car.

Withdraw temporarily to turn down the noise. Meditate. Write. Pet a dog. Read something inspirational to refocus on what is important to me. Play good music.

Meditation. Seriously, I always thought that meditation was just a bunch of hoopla, but in reality. Just sitting there and finding peace within yourself is so uplifting and calming. Afterwards, I feel like I’ve received an extra hour or two of sleep. I’m serious, it really isn’t just a bunch of hoopla. Try it sometime, it’ll become your happy place that you can go to anytime that you need it. =)

I like to sit alone by the river, or if the weather is bad, soak in a tub with lavander.

Trying to remember to make time in my day for calming and centering.
