Oh crikey, I couldn’t name my top favourite tunes of all time. If you gave me a while I could post my top favorite 10 tunes of the moment, but I’d have to listen for a while :) so I’ll post mine in a bit.

Changes every day. Always seems to be whatever song I’m particularly in love with at whatever time any one asks me (right now, “Your Protector” by Fleet Foxes; last week “Don’t Fear The Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult). But for an all time top 10, you’d have to include (in no particular order):
Once Around The Block – Badly Drawn Boy
Waltz No.2 – Elliott Smith
Love Is the Drug – Roxy Music
But if I was forced to listen to just those over and over, they’d rapidly lose their allure…

– Creedence Clearwater Revival – Bad Moon Rising
– Johnny Horton – Battle of New Orleans
– Tennessee Ernie Ford – 16 Tons

– Ben Lee – Apple Candy
– Client (feat. Carl Barat) – Pornography

@megalongcat: It’s actually Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. Good answer, though!
