Have you ever picked between an average job and a chance for a better career or university?

I’m wondering if I should have stayed as an executive dishwasher and not have gone to university or college. I could have paid for the whole university thing from my $6 an hour full time job and not have had to get a student loan. I can’t go back to the dinner because it closed down by the health inspectors years ago. Which I totally knew was going to happen. Seeing the horror stories with the food service industry in my home town. I wanted to be a psychologist. I failed out from personal and health issues in the second year of liberal arts psychology/philosophy degree. Now I can’t even get a dishwasher job and have a chance to take some philosophy and psychology classes in Red Deer College as an open student. I’m finally getting my act together and am going to pay off most of my debt by February except part of my student loan that wasn’t forgiven. (About $5,000)

I’m sorry, but I’m always a little confused on how you went to college if you never got your high school diploma.

As to the question: no.

@Darth_Algar I squeaked by with minimum classes and marks at a easy to get in university. I got a high school diploma and received a 61% average when the minimum grades for prerequisites was 60% on 5 grade 12 subjects. English, Social, Biology Science and Pure Math.
