Can someone explain this dream to me?

Asked by imrainmaker (8380points) November 26th, 2017

I had this vivid dream in which a group of young boys / girls was wandering through forest area when a lion attacked them. They were not harmed i guess due to some miracle ( or i woke up before anything happened I’m not sure). What might be reason of such a dream? Just to let you know I haven’t watched any movie / clip with such a violent content lately.

Pay attention to how you feel about the dream when you recall it. Does that feeling remind you of anything? Do any of the people, or the lion, remind you of anything familiar?

you may feel very protective towards someone, and you may perceive that the person is in danger.

No @Zaku – it doesn’t remind me of anyone to be honest.

Lions represent power and leadership but a lion attacking you symbolizes your fears and anxieties. The lion injured no one which is good as it means you have the inner strength to cope with these negative feelings. I am quite sure the dream was triggered by a situation in your waking life but of course I have no idea what that might be.

Did you feel frustrated or disappointed when you woke up?

I have been going through tough situation in personal life which might be the reason. I understand lion attacking as indication of anxiety. Not sure how the kids come into picture instead of me.
