What can I do to fix my Surface pro 3?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24454points) December 7th, 2017

All I get is the low power symbol then it turns off. The cord light goes on and says that it is charging . I’ve gone through three cords. The warrenty is expired. It is 64GB and Windows 10.

Sounds like the battery is not charging, therefore a new battery is needed. You don’t need another charging cord. Three is enough.

The staples clerk and manager ordered me two cords. It usually fixes the problem. Thanks for the advice. If it doesn’t work then i will buy a pc.

Fix the battery it cheaper by at least 5 times. Staples can put a battery in it for you.

Called staples. They will refund me the next two cords if they don’t power up the computer. Then I will buy a new computer.. About $70 each.

Update: Gave up and bought a Chromebook. For $550.

Update. The Chromebook only has 36 or less gigs of hard drive storage. On the bright side the Chromebook has a sturdier power cord.
