Which song do you put on REPEAT?

Asked by ideabrian (404points) August 15th, 2008

There are very few songs I can listen to over and over. Quelqu’un M’a Dit (by Carla Bruni) is one of those. (Probably because I don’t speak French. Are there any songs you can listen to over and over – back to back?

“Read My Mind – Rebel Diamonds Mix” by The Killers. I can listen to that song over and over and over.

Radio Nowhere, Bruce Springsteen. Especially when driving. Actually, that’s pretty much the only time I ever repeat songs.

If it’s not too much trouble, please include a link to an iTunes track that’s representative of the version you may be listening to. @0.99, this could be some nice instant gratification

“carry me away” by Chris Lake over and over again :)

this or this on loop can drive anyone scatty hehe. I find I tend to listen to quite upbeat songs on loop, mainly the cheesy ones (Think Eiffel 65, Scooter, and other stuff) I can’t think of anything that isn’t like that at the moment.

Pretty much any song that catches my attention. I’ll repeat it hundreds of times until I get bored of it. I do it all the time; it’s really weird, and drives my wife nuts. So these days I mostly do it with earphones at work and on my commute.

Right now, I have three songs on repeat: “Pilot of the Airwaves” by Charlie Dore, “Homosapien” by Pete Shelley, and “Go Insane” by Lindsey Buckingham. I also had “Heterosexual Man” by the Odds, but the juxtaposition of that and “Homosapien” was too jarring. :D

If I’m in my car by myself, and I sound good singing it, I generally have to put it on repeat. :-)

Right now it’s Ordinary People by John Legend. I love melody of the piano mixed with his soulful voice.

That’s a great one, Uber.

Lately (aka since yesterday), I’ve had Whatever You Like and Swing on repeat. It’ll change in a few days when I discover a new song.

Let Go by FrouFrou

None. I don’t hate any song so badly that i wanna ruin it by putting on repeat.
